How to report or block someone on CamDiv
Both options exist, and both are in the same place — but it is not the place most people look first. Here is exactly where to find them.
Where the report and block options actually are
They are on the other person’s profile page. Open their profile, and you will find the option to report them and the option to block them there.
This trips people up, so it is worth being blunt about it: the call screen itself does not have a report or block button. During a call you have your mic, your camera, gifts, quick messages, Next, and hang up. If something is going wrong mid-call, the fastest move is Next or hang up — then open their profile and report from there.
Reporting: what the flow looks like
Tapping report takes you to a separate report page rather than a small pop-up. That page is where you say what happened and attach evidence if you have it. It is a slightly longer flow than a one-tap dismissal, and deliberately so — a report that says what actually occurred is far more useful to the person reviewing it than a bare flag.
Reports go to a human moderation team, which operates around the clock. Do not expect a blow-by-blow account of what was decided — as with most moderation systems, the outcome lands on the reported account rather than in your inbox.
Blocking: what it changes
Blocking is the quieter option and it does one specific thing: once you block someone, they will not be matched with you again. That is the guarantee, and we are not going to dress it up with claims about what happens on their end.
Blocking is not a report. If someone was merely dull, or you simply do not want to see them again, blocking is the right tool and no moderator needs to be involved. If someone did something that breaks the rules — anything involving a minor, coercion, or explicit harassment — report them as well, because blocking only protects you, while a report is what puts the account in front of a moderator.
Which one should you use?
Use block when the problem is about fit: not your thing, bad vibe, you would rather not roll the dice on them again. Use report when the problem is about conduct — behaviour that should get someone removed from the platform regardless of how you personally feel about it.
You can do both to the same person, and in the serious cases you probably should. Report first while the details are fresh, then block so the matching system keeps them away from you.
